Expressive Watercolor with Lisa Burke - 390142

In this class we will explore the fun style of expressive painting. In this class we will use Brusho Crystal Pigments, liquid watercolors and traditional watercolors to create beautiful colorful paintings. Students will accomplish a looser style, create colors and learn how to think outside of the box.

Prerequisite: Prior experience with watercolor paints.

Homework:
Each week a new painting will be started, finished at home, and critiqued at the next class.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies as they are not included in the class fees. Supplies are available for purchase at the Cape Coral Art Center Supply Store located in building 2 open Monday- Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm. Current students receive a 10% discount. Supply List:
- Set of Brusho crystal pigments by Colourcraft (preferably an 8 pack)
- Set of Ecoline Liquid Watercolors 5 pack or 10 pack (Optional)
- Basic set of watercolors 5 - 10 colors
- Derwent Inktense Blocks set of 12 (Optional)
- 3 watercolor brushes, #6 #8 and a 1/2" angler brush
- Yupo Paper 11x14 pad white medium weight
- Small plastic watercolor pallet
- Paper towels
- Gator board
- Papers tape
- Small spritzer water bottle
