Advanced Project Based Pottery with Rick Aliperti - 390262

In this Advanced Project Based Pottery series learn advanced projects and learn new techniques in a lesson-based setting.

In this class you will work as a group to design and create a sculpture or monument for the June Bennett Pathway to Creativity. Students can also create their own garden features.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies as they are not included in the class fees. Supplies are available for purchase at the Cape Coral Art Center Supply Store located in building 2 open Monday- Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm. Current students receive a 10% discount. Works created outside of the Cape Coral Art Center and/or created with clay or glaze purchased outside of the Cape Coral Art Center are prohibited to be fired in Cape Coral Art Center Kilns. This prevents pieces from being fired at the wrong temperature, destroying kiln shelves and bricks.

- Paper Clay or Raku Clay
- Studio 71 Pottery and Clay Tool set of 8
- Towel
- Experienced students are encouraged to bring their project ideas.

The Art Center wants you to learn while having fun and staying safe! Closed toed shoes and long pants required during Raku process. Please keep a pair of safety glasses and respirator handy at all times.
