Advanced Glass Fusing with June Bennett
This class is for the intermediate to advanced student. Glass fusing is a challenging yet exciting class. Students will learn a variety of techniques in fusing, slumping, and firing glass kilns.
Prerequisite: Glass Fusing Beginner or have previous kiln forming experience.
No production work allowed. Only work made in class can be fired.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies as they are not included in the class fees. Supplies are available for purchase at the Cape Coral Art Center Supply Store located in building 2 open Monday thru Saturday 9:00am thru 4:00pm. Current students receive a 10% discount. Drop-In studio times are offered at a nominal fee for students enrolled in the current class session. Dates, times, and costs are posted in the glass studio after the first week of class in each session.

- Students who may already have their own tools are permitted to bring them to class.
- Permanent Marker - Fine Tip or Extra Point
- Ruler with a Cork Back
- Safety Glasses
- Glass Cutter of Choice
- 1 inches Running Pliers
- Breaker/Grozer Pliers
- Thin Fire Shelf Paper 21 inches x 48 inches
- Bullseye glass (90 COE) tested compatible fusing is used in this class. Students using glass by another manufacturer should consult the instructor.
The Art Center wants you to learn while having fun and staying safe! Please wear closed toed shoes and keep a pair of safety glasses and respirator handy.
