Recreation Flag Football for participants to learn the fundamentals of the game and learn good sportsmanship.

2025 YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL INFORMATION
WHAT: YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL (boys & girls ages 5 – 13)
(Must be 5 by March 1, 2025, cannot turn 14 before May 1, 2025)
** This program is co-ed**
WHEN: SEASON STARTS WEEK OF FEBRUARY 24
(Practice will start week of February 10)
** No games/practice during Spring Break **
WHERE: STORM FOOTBALL COMPLEX (2602 Chiquita Blvd)
TIME: Games and practices will take place throughout the week (Mon – Thurs) at Storm Football Complex. Practice begins the week of Feb. 10, with games beginning the week of February 24.
** Maximum of TWO games per week**
** THE CITY OF CAPE CORAL WILL SUPPLY ALL EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR GAME PLAY. (Uniform, flags, balls, officials).
** Exception: Parents are required to supply their child with shorts with NO pockets. Any player without shorts with no pockets will not be able to play until they have the required equipment. Cleats and a mouth piece are strongly recommended, although they are not required.
7 & UNDER: SKILL NIGHT- PEE WEE DIVISION- There is no try outs for the Pee Wee Division. Players will be placed randomly on teams, based on age. Games/Practice will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
10 & UNDER: SKILL NIGHT- JUNIOR DIVISION- Monday, February 3 at 6:00 P.M. –
Storm Football Complex. Games will take place on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings.
13 & UNDER: SKILL NIGHT- YOUTH DIVISION- Tuesday, February 4 at 6:00 P.M. – Storm Football Complex. Games will take place on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings.
PARENTS: WILL BE NOTIFIED OF YOUR CHILDS TEAM BY NO
LATER THAN FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2025.
