Students will be introduced to a variety of techniques used in transparent watercolor painting such as mixing, blending, and applying colors, color values and characteristics. Students will learn how to add texture to painting s using various tools. Students will create compositions using these techniques in landscapes, seascapes, floral, abstracts and more. There will be a weekly painting project, that will be started in class and completed at home. There will be a class critique the following week.
