Students will build skills using techniques like the old masters. They will learn how to use oils, color values, blending, shading, how to make flesh look life like, capturing the likeness of the subject, and how to give portraits a 3-dimensional look. An underpainting will be completed and then students will move on to the overpainting, students usually complete one painting in 12 weeks, registering for multiple sessions is encouraged.
