An intermediate class created for students advancing in pottery skills. This class includes throwing on the wheel, slab, coil building, glazing, and firing methods. Experienced potters will learn about special glazes and the firing technique of the ancient Japanese art form, Raku. Raku is known for its beautiful luster, unusual colors, and free form designs obtained during the firing process.
