Karate as self-defense trains your physical motor skills. All techniques are taught by Hilmar Fuchs in a fun, safe atmosphere. Participants do not need to be well coordinated or in top physical condition. Martial Arts experience is required.

Bring your children to Rotary Park to learn about the nature and natural history of Florida. Programs are geared toward a broad age group and include hands-on activities or projects. Participants should wear shoes and clothes appropriate for hiking and outdoor exploration. Section 01 - Burrowing Owls, Section 02- Gopher Tortoises. Advanced registration is required.

This class is designed for the beginning student. This class will explore hand building techniques, pinch, slab and coil, while also introducing the mechanical process of throwing on the wheel. Students will also learn the basics of how to finish their work through glazes and various firing methods. Advanced students are also welcome.

An intermediate class created for students advancing in pottery skills. This class includes throwing on the wheel, slab, coil building, glazing, and firing methods. Experienced potters will learn about special glazes and the firing technique of the ancient Japanese art form, Raku. Known for its beautiful luster, unusual colors, and free form designs obtained during the firing process.
